Period stuff gets spooky sometimes, especially when you lived through it. Reminds me of the old G.I.Joe comics I ran across clearing out a closet. The first was for the original Joe and ended with an explosion destroying an island full of spies and missiles. The second was from the kinder, gentler Adventure Team Joes and ended with the live capture of the white tiger. Spooky.

Sigh...I hated the 1970's when they were NEW!
They don't appear any better in retrospect.
