The subtext is fairly clear, even for the most chaste of adolescent readers – Bouncing Boy has scored twins.
Romance has been an essential component of the Legion, and many of their couples maintained lengthy (if often-troubled) relationships for decades – Lightning Lad and Saturn Girl, Bouncing Boy and Duo Damsel, the complicated relationship between Timber Wolf and Light Lass, the improbable coupling of Wildfire and Dawnstar (also White Witch and Blok), the recently-ruptured romance of Shadow Lass and Mon-El, and the Legion’s favorite pairing, Ultra Boy and Phantom Girl.
Of course, the Legion are teenagers, so their crushes ebb and flow – Shadow Lass started off infatuated with Brainiac 5, and Duo Damsel used to have it bad for Superboy.
