STATION IDENTIFICATION : RE-INTRODUCTION

Happy 2015! As it's new year and new articles begin showing up on the site on Monday, this seemed like a good time to re-introduce myself:

My name is "Calamity" Jon Morris, I'm a cartoonist and graphic designer formerly of Tucson AZ and now residing just outside of Seattle. My website is Calamity Jon Save Us, and you can also find me on Twitter, Facebook and Google+

• I've been writing Gone&Forgotten for years, and was even interviewed on This American Life about it. In 2014, I made a concerted effort to write new content at least three times a week for the full year, and ended up writing 193 entries for a total of 136,046 words! Single-spaced and lacking illustrations, that would make for a book of  more than 300 pages!
  
  Speaking of which, my first book - The League of Regrettable Superheroes - will be published this Summer from Quirk Books. You can pre-order the book on Amazon.
  
  You can also follow the G&F Tumblr, which updates daily!
  
• I keep two Tumblrs, one for general rambling, reblogging and other stuff (titled Against His Immense and Terrible Flesh), and  keep another Tumblr specifically for my art and cartooning, Calamity Jon Comics and Art.
  
• I co-host a podcast about iconic 1970s detective show Columbo called Just One More Thing. You can listen to episodes there and follow us on Tumblr and Twitter.
  
• I write The Chronological Superman, a blog about the first twelve years of the Man of Steel across every media, one appearance at a time.
  
• I'm also the editor of (and sometimes-contributor to) BOO! HALLOWEEN STORIES, a series of digital humor/horror comics which are available all year 'round on Comixology via Monkeybrain.

If you'd like to support any of these endeavors, I do have a Patreon and I stock an Etsy store with my original illustrations from time to time. It also means a lot to me just to pick up and hear from new followers, so that's great too.
