MAD Magazine, bless its heart, never denied the all-original Don Martin a showcase, producing no end of paperbacks starring his zoinking, schlorping, kdaaaaannnnnging (and shazapping!) collection of bizarre, onomatopoeiac cartoons - particularly including the hapless hero Captain Klutz.
